I became familiar with “The Best of” maps in and around 2000, while I was working as a regional sales manager for Corporate American and traveling to a variety of the locations where Resort Maps were being distributed. They were fun, informative and made it easy to find places and things to do in a hurry.

In 2004, I was planning my wedding and called Resort Maps to ask for a bunch of their maps for inserts into my wedding invitations for group of people coming out of town since it was a weekend destination for many of my friends. The owners were so helpful and sent them right away. The next thing I knew, I was asking them about an opportunity to own a franchise. I love the eclectic group of people I have met in the process of building my maps. Plus it gave me the opportunity to work from my home and raise my son. Resort Maps headquarters is located in a Beautiful area in Waitsfield, VT. The trip there to design and produce and train with the team seemed more like a vacation than a job!
